New Orleans, LA hosts the 2023 Young, Smart and Local national talent conference from Nov. 13-15, 2023. Young, Smart and Local is a growing national network of more than 50 cities working to build robust young talent networks.

Young, Smart and Local launched in April 2019. Since the launch, the network has grown to over 800 professionals in economic development, city government, higher education and business. The 2023 conference is hosted by Action Greensboro, Campus Philly, Greater New Orleans, Inc. and Campus Tulsa

The three-day convening will be held in-person in downtown New Orleans with a variety of programming, plus plenty of time to network and brainstorm with cities across the country.

Keynote addresses and breakout sessions will focus on:

  • National trends, forecasts and best practices in talent attraction, development, retention and migration
